Before founding Urban Concepts, Belinda’s career began in local councils, including the City of Sydney, before shifting into senior private sector urban planning roles. In the 90’s Belinda managed Communications for the Homebush Bay Development Corporation to successfully articulate to Sydney and the world how an unglamorous abattoir site would be transformed into international supporting facilities to support the Green Olympic Games.
Since 1994 Belinda has utilised her urban planning and communication skills under her own banner and distinct business model. As CEO, Belinda provides expert counsel to a formidable list of clients including Government and globally recognised private sector companies.

After completing a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, Cooper pivoted to content creation and completed a Bachelor of Film at SAE. Cooper has spent the past three years creating engaging content in a variety of formats including short films, music videos and promotional content. Now the holder of a Remote Pilot Licence, Cooper is both the Creative Producer and Chief Remote Pilot at Urban Concepts, bringing community consultation into the digital world through video, drone imagery and podcasts.
Meet Brigitte, who is our Executive Assistant at Urban Concepts. Brigitte provides support in all areas of our business, whether keeping our social media up-to-date or managing our events, both online and face-to-face, helping produce reports for clients or simply keeping the business running smoothly day to day. With a background in Digital Creative Enterprises from her Bachelor of Management at UTS, Brigitte is a huge asset to our Urban Concepts team, especially as we launch our exciting new UrbanTalk digital engagement platform for the development industry.
Zoe is currently completing a Bachelor of Planning at Macquarie University and assists Belinda with development consultation. Zoe is an invaluable asset to Urban Concepts through her role as Student Planner, researching and providing core information for current projects. In this Zoe is able to gain practical experience alongside her studies and get an insight into her future as an urban planner.
